Michelle is a student at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim and I have had the opportunity to get to know her very well over the course of this year and see what a special person she is. Michelle is energetic and friendly, and is very well liked by her peers. She makes everyone around her feel comfortable and brings happiness and cheer to the entire seminary. She takes part in extra chesed activities and is involved in Kedma’s singing competition.

Michelle also is very focused on her spiritual growth and getting the most out of her year in seminary. Michelle loves learning torah and is very enthusiastic about her classes. She has met me multiple times to talk about her spiritual and religious growth, and she has been intently working on herself in many areas: whether in middot development, learning halacha, and strengthening herself in her knowledge and commitment to Torah. She also has set up many chavrutaot outside of the formal classes and sedarim in MMY, including weekly learning with both a madricha and a rakezet. Michelle has truly been an inspiration to see over the time that she has been with us at MMY.
