Marc Merrill is 23 years old and grew up in Jamaica Estates, NY. Marc went to MTA for High School, followed by two years of Yeshiva in Lev HaTorah. Marc is a graduate of Yeshiva University where he majored in History and is now in his second year of Semicha in YU. During his first year of college, he was approached by one of his Rabbeim to help raise money for someone who could not afford a second year of Yeshiva in Israel. That was the beginning of Torah Letzion, which is an up and coming Tzedaka organization which has already enabled many young men and women the opportunity to learn in Israel for the year.

Daniel Sherman is 23 years old and is a graduate of MTA High School in Washington Heights. Upon completion of his High School studies he learned at Yeshivat Hakotel for two years and is currently finishing his B.A. at Yeshiva University. He has spent his summers at Camp Nesher where he is the Assistant Athletics Director. Daniel Joined the Torah Letzion staff in 2008 and takes great pleasure in his role as Co-Director, working closely with Marc and the rest of the hard-working team.

Michael Adler is 24 years old and hails from Passiac, NJ. After attending Torah Academy of Bergan County for high school he studied in Israel at Yeshiva Lev HaTorah. Michael received his B.A. in Political Science with a Minor in History from Yeshiva University. With a passion for Israel and writing, running the communications department of TLZ is a natural fit. Michael is currently a Special Ed teacher at The Sinai School in Teaneck, NJ and has spent many summers in Camp HASC and participates in a variety of Yachad programs.

Corey Fuchs is 20 years old and grew up in Teaneck, NJ. He went to MTA for high school and then proceeded to study for a year and a half in Yeshivat Sha'alavim. It was in his time there that he had the pleasure of learning with a recipient of Torah Letzion, thus sparking his interest in the organization. Corey now studies in Yeshiva University and is majoring in Economics and serves as the Special Events Coordinator for Torah Letzion.

Yoni Bardash

Yoni Bardash is 21 years old and grew up in Teaneck, NJ. For high school, he attended The Frisch School, where he served as the president of the school’s charity society, Kahal. As president of Kahal, Yoni successfully organized charity events and raffles that benefitted a wide variety of charity organizations. Yoni then spent a year and a half learning in Eretz Yisrael in Yeshivat Torat Shraga before returning to Yeshiva University. He is presently a senior at YU and is taking science coursework, as well as pursuing a major in Economics with the hopes of attending medical school. Yoni currently serves as the Special Events Coordinator for Torah Letzion.

Estie spent her year in Israel at Michlelet Mevaseret Yerushalayim (MMY), after which she attended Stern College for Women and majored in english communications. Estie has enjoyed writing and editing for publications and organizations throughout her college career. She is currently in nursing school while editing for TLZ.
