I have had the pleasure of teaching Leah Lang over the course of the past three months at Sha’alvim for Women, a seminary for post High School Women in Jerusalem. She has already distinguished herself as a wonderful student who has proven to be both dedicated and passionate in her studies.

Leah hit the ground running. She fosters an unwavering commitment not only her own growth but is concerned with and aware of the growth of her class in general. She utilizes her engaging personality and her inquisitive mind as well as her enthusiasm and spirit to not only enhance her experience but to contribute to the overall seminary environment. Her leadership skills are marked with an open minded perspective and cheerful disposition.

Socially, Leah exhibits the skills and awareness necessary to thrive in both the academic and social environments. She questions and challenges her teachers in a respectful and thoughtful manner. She instinctively knows when to have a good time and when to be serious; one of the qualities that make her such a valuable student and friend.

Leah’s experience in seminary thus far has been positive and I believe that she has the necessary skills and perspective to continue her growth, both spiritually as well as academically over the coming months.
