Shimon has grown tremendously in his learning skills and Avodat Hashem since he began learning at Yeshivat Hakotel. At the beginning of the year, morning shiur was difficult for him, but with hard work and sincere dedication he now understands shiur, and has shown tremendous improvement. He has also made strides in using his time more effectively.

A few months ago, Shimon made a Siyum on Mishnayos Seder Nashim, most of which was learned in daily increments of no more than 20 minutes. He is now in the middle of Seder Moed, and hopes to complete all of Mishnayos by the end of the summer. This too testifies to his diligence, and dedication of growth.

Most importantly, Shimon is a real Ben Torah. I don’t believe he has missed a Minyan in months, maybe more. His overall commitment to performing Mitzvos properly is excellent. He strongly values his religious commitment and love for Hashem and his Mitzvos.

He is really growing into a true modern-Orthodox lifestyle, and hopes to continue living this lifestyle after Yeshiva.

Shimon is succeeding very well at Yeshivat Hakotel, and it seems to be the best school that he could have chosen. I look forward to continuing to see Shimon thrive during his Shannah Alef and beyond.
